My client have a UK Wide Distribution Network. Through expansion, my client is rapidly developing their reach within the South Yorkshire Region, and due to this, the opportunity has arisen to recruit a Stock Controller into their Logistics Team.

My client have a UK Wide Distribution Network. Through expansion, my client is rapidly developing their reach within the South Yorkshire Region, and due to this, the opportunity has arisen to recruit a Stock Controller into their Logistics Team.
**Description**
The Stock Controller will take ownership and accountability for quantity and value of all the clients inventory:
- Reduce stock at risk and model warehouse capacity requirements to identify opportunities.
- Review and analyses of projected business to reduce stock at risk and model warehouse capacity requirements to identify opportunities.
- Ensure that all Shortages raised, investigated and the results communicated with all necessary departments/personnel.
- Ensure that all missing stock is investigated and adjusted as required, results to be communicated as required.
- Ensure the Completion of obsolete counts where necessary in line with direction from customer
- Responsible for accurately matching deliveries against invoices, and querying any overcharges.
- To manage the physical locations of all SKU's.
- To ensure monthly stock takes carried out in line with policy.
- To ensure adequate stock control procedures are in place to protect company assets.
- To continuously review methods and seek ways to implement best practice.
**Profile**
- Have a minimum of 2+ years Stock / Inventory experience within a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain Background - **Essential**:
- Knowledge of contract pack, cycle counts as well as bills of materials - ideally in end of life and stock rotation - **Desirable**:
- Have a proven track record of working as part of a team alongside key stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written.
- Strong independent work ethic, excellent time management skills, and organisational abilities.
- Commutable to Doncaster.
- Ability to work a Mon-Fri Shift Pattern
- FLT Licenses - **Advantageous**
**Job Offer**
- Salary - £24,000 to £28,000.
