**The Company**:
Nigel Wright Supply Chain and Procurement Team are working with a leading manufacturer in South Yorkshire to recruit a Materials Controller to cover a fixed term of 12 months
**The Role**:
Working within the Service Delivery Supply Chain Department, the materials manager will be focusing on the Overhaul materials requirements with the following key responsibilities:

- Develop and manage the process for managing the repair loop for Overhaul Materials with the project teams
- Work with all stakeholders to ensure maximum process efficiency is achieved through the proposed process, including reporting requirements.
- Monitoring of parts during the repair cycle from the contractor, including evaluation of quotes from supplier, timings, and expectation of stock return
- Work closely with the Fleet planning teams and CPC to ensure smooth transition of the overhaul programme.
- Work closely with the Warranty and Repair team to ensure spares are expedited quickly through the repair process
- Management of the movement of all overhaul spares through the logistics team
**The Person**:

- At least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and to communicate clearly and effectively any concerns
- Microsoft office capable (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience of managing an overhaul portfolio in a similar field
- Engineering background with clear basic knowledge
- Good analytical ability
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Commitment to working as part of a team
- An understanding of health and safety requirements of a working environment
