We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our product team working in our Data Squad. You will be expert in agile product development with a passion for using data and analytics to produce customer centric data solutions for business objectives,reporting into the Head of Product the Product Owner will form a critical part of the product team representing data and BI.
You will Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders and leading cross functional teams, the Product Owner will work collaboratively to identify the key requirements and drivers from a range of stakeholders, analysing based on company strategyand business value in to produce and execute a prioritised roadmap of key enablers in this area.

We are a team of over 170 people with our HQ based in Wigan, Greater Manchester (WN3 5AZ). The role will be 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
**What you’ll need**:
- Degree or Masters in a maths, business or technology discipline is preferred
- Knowledge and experience of working with scrum agile delivery methods as a certified product owner (ASPO)
- Understanding of the fundamentals of data including; data models, architecture, BI tools (eg Power BI) and analytics.
- Proven hands-on experience as a part of a data delivery team highly desirable
- Experience of working with UI/UX teams to produce high quality artefacts as part of the product delivery process
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent stakeholder management and strong relationship building skills
- Understanding or interest in the betting industry and how tote products fit into the wider landscape beneficial but not essential
**What you’ll be doing**
- Oversee the Data Squad product roadmap, creating a suite of solutions to drive liquidity, enhance operational efficiency and streamline decision making across our key stakeholders - colleagues, partners and direct customer base
- Work closely with the BI team and BI director to ensure alignment to BI strategy
- Work with stakeholders to understand business drivers, help develop the data product strategy and contribute to the production of an overall product delivery roadmap that aims to deliver on the key business strategy and goals. Examples - strategic BI platform,partner data service strategy, customer data strategy, and squad roadmaps
- Develop business cases to demonstrate the benefits of the roadmap and measure subsequent level of success through predetermined KPI’s
- Translate business needs into high level stories/requirements for new to market features & drive incremental delivery of these features in conjunction with the wider delivery teams
- Daily interaction with internal and external development partners to clarify development requirements and to drive development in an Agile environment
- Daily interaction with the internal testing team to ensure features are delivered as expected. This will include user-acceptance testing of new developments
- Regularly interact with key business areas including partnerships, marketing, liquidity, operations, international, compliance, legal and finance
- Regularly interact and communicate with key business partners in order to gauge success of new initiatives, identify friction points and eliminate blockers to business development
- Seek input from external and internal stakeholders and keeping abreast of industry and sector best practice
- Ensure key stakeholders are kept well informed of the status of delivery and benefits realisation
- Work with delivery teams to ensure delivery processes are continuously evaluated and improved to drive optimal efficiency in order to deliver an industry leading product
