Quality & Process Officer

**About the role**:
Working within the Compliance Operations department, the Quality Assessment Officer will work closely with our Safer Gambling and AML Managers to meet the requirements for effective and insightful quality, with a focus on adherence to process and regulationwhilst maintaining a good customer experience.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Undertake quality assurance reviews assessing the safer gambling and anti-money laundering reviews and interactions accurately and within agreed timescales
- Working with the safer gambling and anti-money laundering manager to provide constructive and proactive feedback
- Track, monitor and report on actions agreed from QA work, to ensure timely and effective completion by owners
- Support with the creation of a robust QA plan, with a focus on enhancement and improvement of the structure and delivery of Quality assessment across the operation.
- Establish strong relationships with compliance, risk, and customer care teams to allow effective teamwork and feedback
- Provide reporting on QA activities undertaken, including key findings and recommendations as well as an overall assessment of the adherence to the regulatory environment

We are a team of over 170 people with our HQ based in Wigan, Greater Manchester (WN3 5AZ)_._ The role will be 37.5 hours per week and include a varied shift pattern with some weekend work and working hours between 8am and 6pm.We offer a flexible hybridworking and a full induction, on the job training and development plan will be put in place for anyone who joins the team.
**What you’ll need**:
- Previous experience within a quality assessment role
- Strong communication skills which can be implemented through all mediums to customers and stakeholders across the business
- Confidence in making decision and recommendations with the ability to present these to the management team
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and work independently in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work co-operatively with others to complete tasks and recommend and implement process improvements
- Experience in the production of metrics and reporting to support compliance and business objectives is desirable
- Ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of AML, Fraud and SG practices within the UK gambling sector is desirable
