You'll play a key role in helping Sky shape and communicate its near and long term financial plans to the executive management team, which will require partnering with various business team members across our markets to interpret and analyse financial performance.

What you'll do:

- Bring to life Sky’s big product, TV, sport, innovation and CSR moments for our Sky colleagues.
- Lead a team of five to support on the ideation, development and execution of internal campaigns and launches
- Own the creative approach to create moments to engage and excite colleagues about pivotal developments at Sky
- Be responsible for the mix of channels that carry our internal communications, including our company intranet, Yammer and our digital outlets
- Oversight and ownership of the content that is published across those channels
- Drive the channel strategy and influence the wider business and comms partners with findings and outputs from Comms Audit
- Be an active contributor to the Internal Communications management team, working with your peers to plan and coordinate activities across different areas of the business
- Manage the budget allocated to campaigns and channels
- Present plans and campaign recommendations to senior partners and exec.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across marketing, PR, events and other departments to ensure a joined-up approach to internal and external initiatives
- Manage our communications agency to ensure they deliver creative and innovative, cost-effective campaigns with engagement and measurement in mind
- Closely evaluate the success of each initiative or launch and provide insight and recommendations on how to continuously improve how we engage with colleagues
- Drive continuous improvements across our processes and results through post implementation reviews and monthly insight's forum.
- Prioritise work effectively, enabling the delivery of high-quality work at pace by using the team resources as required
- Mentor and coach the wider Internal Communications team

What you'll bring:

- Experience of working in-house or agency-side on employee communications
- Excellent team management skills combining high standards with empathy, encouragement and motivation
- A collaborative approach with proven ability to work cross-departmentally and cross-functionally.
- A curious, creative mind that strives to do things differently
- Outstanding writing skills with a nose for news
- Excellent presentations skills
- A strong understanding of the mix of communications channels and their success in reaching employees
- The desire and ability to work and deliver at pace in a fast-moving, exciting environment
- Ability to prioritise, guide decision-making and positively influence partners
