Here at Sony UK Tec we are looking for a motivated individual to take on the exciting position as Business Development Analyst. The main responsibility is to provide a strategic and analytic approach to our New Business function, This is achieved throughresearching market and sector conditions, competitor and segment analysis, investigating further opportunities and possibilities for partnerships within the market. The role demands that the individual is required to be a Sony Brand Ambassador with the mission of securing new business and developing new successful networking relationships. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a growing business, workingin a team with a shared common goal. **Key Responsibilities**: - Seeking & identifying new clients for Sony UKTec by researching and creating networking opportunities in multiple sectors under the new business development strategy - Actively conducting research on market/future trends, target environment & competitors, documenting and presenting data collated to New Business Development group / Executive board - Take a proactive, lead role in initial engagement & shortlist screening of prospect leads, create business proposals based on customer, industry data/analysis, produce quotations/service agreements where applicable - Main point of contact for new business development enquiries, managing opportunity pipelines, monitoring & responding appropriately to prospect customer leads. - Working with various departments to grow the business e.g. marketing, account managers, senior management, Executive board - Preparation and delivery of presentations to internal and external parties, e.g: reporting, KPI’s, Events, customer opportunities - Manage networking/Event schedule in line with new business development strategy, represent Sony UKTec at appropriate networking events, trade fairs and support site visits, conducting plant tours, business overview presentations. **Person Specification**: **Essential** - Self-motivated with a can-do attitude - Drive and ambition for success - Previous business development experience - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to do so.
