**Job Summary**
Performs administrative support and coordinates activities for the team to ensure that client needs are consistent with trust laws and regulations. Applies experience and complete working knowledge of the job and policies/practices to perform a combination of routine tasks and varied administrative/operational assignments.
**What is the opportunity?**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Wealth Management Associate to join the team in our Edinburgh office. The Wealth Associate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the team, while working under the guidance of senior colleagues in Wealth management.
You will be required to work in the office at least 4 days per week, with the option to work 1 day remotely.
**What will you do?**
- Assist, support, and work under supervision of a senior wealth colleague.
- Collate and verify the accuracy of the information and work provided.
- Support wealth colleagues with all aspects of client support and assist in preparation of reviews and client documentation.
- Developing knowledge on breadth of investment, lending, cash, and trust solutions and begins to build knowledge through exposure to client support.
- Information giver: providing client with information and not advice.
- Aware of the office business plans and develops understanding to supports the team in achieving overall objectives.
- Work collaboratively with One RBC partners and functional colleagues across platforms, and partner with other business units to ensure clients are receiving exceptional services.
**What do you need to succeed?**
**Must-have**
- Whilst we don't require prior experience, familiarity of administrative processes would be beneficial. Most importantly, we are searching for dedicated individuals who are serious about creating a career in wealth management with us.
- Good time management skills, because this is a demanding role where you will often be managing many priorities and tasks
- Proactive, enjoy learning new things and seek out ways to expand your knowledge.
- A particular interest in business sectors, current business developments, market trends, and financial products and services. You will need to be knowledgable in these areas to effectively communicate with and gain the confidence of clients.
- Good attention to detail, maintaining accuracy when completing written and numerical based tasks.
- Clear and concise communication skills - with ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
- A willingness to study for industry recognised qualifications if successful e.g. CII or CISI

- Existing knowledge of RBC Brewin Dolphin proposition
