**Position Summary**
Samsung Ads is responsible for identifying, valuating and determining new opportunities within the digital media and advertising industry with the goal of creating scalable services and businesses on top of the global footprint of European Samsung Smart TVs. The team is working to bring value for partners, advertisers, and agencies through its unique insights into TV viewership in the shifting media landscape

**Role and Responsibilities**
The “Head of Product - Platform” will formulate, lead and deliver the strategy and roadmap for our Samsung Ads platform in Europe, incorporating millions of Samsung mobile devices, Smart TVs and third-party connected devices within the Samsung home Ultimately, they will be responsible for developing our publisher platform and advertiser platform (DSP) for customers in 20 countries
**We are looking for someone to lead the following**:
- Lead and develop a team of senior product managers to formulate the product vision, go-to-market strategies and performance measurement of Samsung’s publisher platform and advertiser platform (DSP) in Europe.
- Build a roadmap with clear timelines for delivering revenue-generating ad products for agencies and advertisers, across Samsung’s owned and operated inventory, cross-screen/cross-device solutions, and unique measurement & attribution capabilities.
- Gather requirements from our European clients, sales team and internal ops teams, and translate them into clear product requirements for our data and engineering teams.
- Deliver ‘complete’ product solutions for our customers, ensuring ‘product readiness’ is achieved across all core workstreams, including legal, privacy, BD, engineering and Product Marketing.
- Identify key blockers in the delivery pathway, be it technical, legal or organisational, and think creatively and practically to resolve them.
- Work closely with the Product Marketing team to communicate and ‘train out’ product solutions to the sales team, including market launches and supporting materials.
- Coordinate with our Biz Ops, Ad Ops and Analytics teams to ensure products are operationally ready for launch, including pricing, campaign activation, delivery, billing and reporting.
- Establish a measurement framework for product success and uptake by clients in Europe.
- Liaise with the business teams in North America, APAC and South Korea (HQ) to ensure global parity for our platform and products, while navigating the nuances in different European markets, such as privacy law, technical enablement, industry maturity, currency and language.
We are looking for someone to lead the following product areas:
- “Samsung TV Plus” (Samsung’s free ad-supported streaming app), coordinating with our existing TV Plus product managers, plus our B2C product and BD teams, to monetise TV Plus video ads on Smart TVs and mobiles, supporting the revenue goals of both Samsung Ads and our content/channel partners.
- Samsung Content Network (SCN), working closely with our BD and engineering teams to build (and technically deliver) commercial partnerships for Samsung Ads and our content partners.
- Samsung Native CTV ads, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the Smart TV user-interface and navigation menu, putting ‘content discovery’ at the heart of the customer experience, including ad placements across the Homescreen, App Store, Universal Guide and Gaming Hub.
- Samsung Native Mobile Apps, accessed daily by millions of Samsung devices across Europe, including Game Launcher and Galaxy Store apps, working closely with our product teams in Europe, North America and South Korea (HQ), to create sellable mobile solutions for our European clients.
- Audience Targeting, working closely with our data product managers to expand and unify the targeting capabilities across our mobile and CTV campaigns, utilising Samsung’s unique first-party data from millions of connected devices, as well as from trusted third-party data providers.
- Cross-Screen/Cross-Device Solutions, including the ability to connect campaigns across Samsung mobiles and CTVs within the same household - including non-Samsung devices - to extend reach and frequency both on and off the Samsung platform.
- Direct and Indirect Monetisation Strategy, including defining our mobile and CTV managed service propositions, versus our programmatic strategy (via third-party SSPs and DSPs), versus our self-serve DSP offering (currently live in the US, yet to launch in Europe).
