We are looking for a motivated and professional **Mental Health Act Administrator Assistant **to support in ensuring the legal requirements of the **Mental Health Act 1983 at Cygnet Nield House**. Cygnet Nield House in Crewe is our 29-bed mental health hospital for women.

Cygnet Nield House is split into two distinct wards, each offering specialist mental health services:
Clarion Ward, a 14 bed complex personality disorder service for women with a dual diagnosis of personality disorder and co-morbid disordered eating.
Compton Ward, a 15 bed acute service for women. The service provides a safe and stabilising environment for women who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.

**Your day-to-day...**

Process admission and discharges.
Ensuring all relevant staff are aware of any policy changes.
Ensuring rights have been completed as per Cygnet policies.
Collating and processing Mental Health Act paperwork received from ward staff.
Responsible for tracking expiry information on Mental Health sections.
Manage a shared mailbox.
Scanning and archiving.
Ensuring E-systems are up to date and accurate.

**We are looking for people who have..**

Strong administration skills
Knowledge and understanding of Mental Health Act
Knowledge of working within a Mental Health inpatient hospital
Computer Literate (Word,Excel, Outlook)
Ability of being able to communicate effectively
Demonstrate the ability to work well in a team
Being able to organise and prioritise your workload
