**Salary: £31,000**

**Location: Sheffield**

**Hours**:

- **Monday to Thursday - 08:00AM-16:00PM**
- **Friday - 08:00AM - 13:00PM**

Morgan King Group are actively recruiting for an Import & Export Officer on behalf of a well-recognised aerospace manufacturer based in Sheffield.

Based in **Sheffield**, the Import & Export Officer will be able to commute to the head office.

**Key Responsibilities of the Import & Export Officer**:

- Responsible for managing all import and export documentation to ensure regulatory requirements are met, including collating, and storing documentation.
- Provide clearance instructions for the import of goods including determining correct HS and CPC codes.
- Monitor changes in import and export regulations ensuring we are up to date with industry best practices and incorporating new technologies and strategies to enhance the site’s capabilities.
- Implement and manage processes for screening potential customers, suppliers, partners, and other business entities.
- Become an ITAR champion for the site, developing our ITAR regulation compliance policy.
- Ensuring import and export rules adhered to and system data is compliant and extractable for reporting purposes.

**Import & Export Officer requirements**:

- Knowledge of Inward Process and ITAR control - Essential
- Experience with import and export procedures and customs clearance, including MSS reports.
- Experience with Inward Process Relief and associated reporting requirements.
- Have strong IT skills and be a confident and effective communicator.

**In return, the Import & Export Officer will receive**:

- Remuneration: £31,000
- Shift pattern:

- 08:00AM - 16:00AM - Monday - Thursday
- 08:00AM - 13:00PM - Friday
- 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays + Christmas Close down) with ability to buy/sell up to 5 days.
