**The Role**:
**Duties will include**:

- Familiarise with the filing systems, learn basic office procedures
- Order stationery from approved suppliers
- Learn, understand and use various computerised systems, all of which are very user friendly
- Answer the telephone/transfer calls/take messages as required
- Create and maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers, carriers and agents in the UK and overseas (all English speaking - no requirement for second language)
- Create manual and digital files
- Process and monitor bookings for export and import using various methods of transport under supervision, update customers as and when required
- Check document drafts for accuracy
- Produce documents for checking
Update/maintain systems with current data
Invoice clients/process purchase invoices
- Complete customs clearance formalities by entering and submitting data online

**Skills Required**:

- GCSE grades A-C / 4+ in maths and English
- Basic computer skills
**Working Hours and Wage**:
35 Hours Per Week. 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday with a one hour break for lunch between the hours of 12:00- 14:00

£239.05 Per Week
**Progression Opportunities**:
Potential to progress to higher level apprenticeship and permanent position within the company.
