**The Role**

As a 2nd Line engineer you will play an important role in shaping the development of 1st line engineers, acting as a mentor and point of escalation for them. You will provide remote (ocassionally onsite) support for managed service provider clients and noday willl be the same From resolving networking issues, to windows troubleshooting and working with virtualised environments this second line position will help you expand your skillset within overall IT support and infrastucture. On a daily basis you willalso work with technologies such as VMware, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, printer & server hardware and more

- _Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)_
- Desirable_
- _MSP Experience_
- _VMware/Hyper V_
- _IT related certifcations (eg. degree, Microsoft, ITIL)_
- _Knowledge and understanding of hardware and software components (printers, desktops)_
