The purpose of the Team Co-ordinator is to provide administrative and secretarial support to senior leadership team members and their teams, including shared diary management support, managing travel within policy and budget, coordinating small projects to ensure the function of the collective team.
**About the role**
- Perform a variety of administrative and/or support tasks to a high standard and within timescales to support team activities and projects.
- Produce, update and provide best practice support on Microsoft documents, databases and other department systems to your local team, the wider HS2 workforce and other stakeholders.
- Book travel for team members as required.
- File documents and keep the documentations system updated and maintained.
- Undertake general day-to-day duties, including specialist related tasks,maintenance of documentation, managing mini projects through to completion.
- Collate information and reports for the team to support its activities.
- Work with other members of team to build on your experience and abilities to ensure continuous support is maintained for the team and broader function.
- Actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.

**About you**:
**Skills**:

- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and organisation skills which should include diary management, travel booking, document handling, reporting, organising meetings and team administrative support
- Ability to communicate and engage with a range of stakeholders and internal staff.

**Knowledge**:

- Knowledge of Office based software, including MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of utilising software in the office environment (training will be provided in the use of the internal document management system and SRM as
- required).

**Type of experience**:

- Experience of working with multiple teams and managing competing interests to
- tight deadlines
- Experience of taking ownership of tasks and small projects and managing expectations of stakeholders
