We are looking for a friendly, reliable Part-Time Cook to join our team at a busy, family-friendly café. This role is ideal for someone with experience in kitchen environments who enjoys preparing fresh, simple meals and keeping things clean, organised, and running smoothly. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook breakfasts, light meals, and children’s party food to a consistent standard Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment at all times Follow food hygiene and safety procedures (e.g., stock rotation, temperature checks, allergen awareness) Help with restocking ingredients and ensuring supplies are well-organised Contribute to menu development and suggest new family-friendly food ideas Support front-of-house team during busy periods (e.g., serving drinks, clearing tables, assisting with customer service) Handle basic till use and support party/event service when needed Deliver great customer service and handle any food-related queries positively Requirements: Previous experience working in a café, kitchen, or food service environment Confident in cooking breakfast and light meals in a busy setting Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards - Level 2 Food Hygiene preferred (or willing to obtain) Friendly and approachable, especially with families and children Comfortable multitasking and supporting across different parts of the café when required Able to work independently and take initiative in the kitchen Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and school holidays

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
