HR Advisor

**Position Summary**:
This is a newly created regional position and will be based out of our Basingstoke office location. With a requirement to travel to sights across the south of the UK this position reports to the Senior HR Manager supporting our managers in a people related activities..

The HR Advisor will support the HR team to embed company HR strategy and practices aligned with the overall business objectives. this is a challenging role where you will be required to deliver a full generalist service and build robust relationships with managers in order to have the credibility to advise on a broad range of ER issues. The HR Advisor will also support TUPE activities both during the transition and integration phases. The individual in this role must be a commercially minded, pragmatic HR professional.

**Duties**:
Duties of this position include but are not limited to the following:

- Advise Line Managers in managing dispute resolution, grievances, disciplinaries and dismissals acting as first point of contact for all Employee Relations related issues
- Conduct new starters induction and ensure probation reviews take place with their region
- Support an embedded recruitment processes to optimise sourcing and selection of talent
- Ensure all allocated & adopted HR activities are completed diligently, aiming for 100% accuracy and in-time delivery
- Where required attend in person provide HR guidance for high risk ER matters
- Working with HR Managers to monitoring absences and advising managers on managing any ongoing absence cases.
- Undertake HR orientation and develop and deliver other HR training sessions to people managers - these training sessions may take place outside of normal working hours to cover the 24/7 working pattern
- Support the wider HR Team - undertake HR research, project work reporting and analytics, and champion HR initiatives.

**Required Experience**:
1. Working towards a CIPD qualification.
2. Driving license due to regular travel to sites
3. Ability to occasionally attend meetings outside of regular working hours
4. 3+ years experience supporting employee relations cases
5. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
6. Experience in supporting multi-site environment
7. The ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment; handle a multitude of tasks; and adapt to change.
