Global Investment Bank is currently hiring Legal Entity Control VP’s to join their London team. These roles have been created due to a strategic decision to increase their onshore presence and will support the Banking and Broker Dealer entities respectively.The team is supporting by a team of circa 30 controllers in an offshore location and therefore the roles will focus on add value responsibilities away from daily production.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversight for all Financial Reporting activity for the European Bank, UK Banking and Broker Dealer entities
- Key point of contact for European Bank CFO and EMEA legal entity controller
- Manage production of legal entity financial reporting
- Responsible for taking ownership of finance projects including Bank Levy, implementation of a new financial statement package provider, automation and OPEX initiatives.
- Manage external relationship with external auditors
- Indirect management of deliverables and project work produced by team members in an offshore location.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post qualified experience
- Currently working in a Financial Reporting/Control/LEC role in another Investment Bank at Senior AVP or Junior VP Level - Highly Preferred
- Proven experience of taking ownership of and leading strategic finance projects
- Strong academic background - minimum 2:1 degree

These are high profile roles across the bank and will have regular interaction with key stakeholders including Regional CFO’s and other business heads so it is essential that you have strong interpersonal skills. The bank offers realistic progression forinternal mobility including a pathway for a Director role in the future.
