An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Office, Membership & Events Coordinator to join our small friendly team. This role is interesting and varied. We are looking for a person with excellent organisational, interpersonal, planning, and prioritising skills along with having a flexible approach.
**Key responsibilities of the role are to**:

- Support of the financial function of membership renewals and new member subscriptions.
- In conjunction with the Club Treasurer, prepare all monies for banking at least once per week.
- To provide information on how to join the club to prospective new members and to organise the administration of the New Members Welcome Meetings.
- Assist in coordinating and managing member events and visitor functions.
- Support communication within the clubhouse and on Social Media, including keeping notice boards up-to-date and relevant, ensuring competitions, social events and other club activities are promoted.
- In conjunction with the Golf Pro and Handicap sub-committee, coordinate the annual fixtures.
- Assist with general day to day activities associated with a busy golf club
- Appointed First Aider (training will be provided).
**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED**

**Essential**:

- A background in administration within the hospitality or golf sector
- Strong IT skills
- Good communication skills
- Good attention to detail
**Desirable**:

- Knowledge of golf club activities
- Competent in using ClubV1 or other similar packages
- Marketing and/or hospitality background
- Accountancy/bookkeeping experience

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From £9.00 per hour
