A great opportunity has become available for a **Contact Centre Agent **to join our team based in **East Grinstead**. You** **will join them on a **full-time, permanent** **basis,** and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of** £23,680 per annum.**

**Working hours**:Monday to Friday on a rota. Our opening hours during the week are 8.45 - 5.30 off peak and 8.45 - 6pm peak (March - Sept). You will receive a rota 6 months in advance.

Initially in the office full time for training for 6 weeks, thereafter **2 days in the office and 3 days from home**.

**About the role**:
**Key responsibilities of our** **Contact Centre Agent will include**:

- Promoting and selling to members all the Clubs services relating to Membership, Insurance, Travel and UK Sites ensuring compliance with all standards.
- In conjunction with business requirements undergo training and comply with current and ongoing FCA regulatory requirements.
- Undertaking, as required, additional learning activity to develop product knowledge across the full range of products to meet operational requirements.
- Providing a high level customer advice and information service to our members and potential members, in accordance with the Club’s standards and strategic goals, processing and escalating calls as necessary to ensure first time resolution wherever possible.
- Supporting and assisting colleagues through sharing of knowledge and experience in a “Buddy” environment to ensure a quality service to our Members is maintained.
- Taking ownership of own personal development, maintaining an up to date knowledge of products, services, systems and procedures necessary to carry out the role.
- Assisting other sections of the department and represent the Club at outside events as required.

**What we are looking for in our Contact Centre Agent**:

- Previous experience of customer service/care within a busy Call/Contact Centre environment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of Google Suite
- Ability to demonstrate a confident, empathetic approach to customer service including investigation, negotiation and product promotion via a variety of channels.
- Ability to adapt to new systems/change/procedures as required.
