Finance Manager
Hybrid working - central Herts
Butler Rose is delighted to be working with an exciting central Herts based SME business, going through a period of rapid growth and development, who are looking to secure a new Finance Manager for their business.
This is a brand new role - something for you to really make your own Reporting to the Managing Director you will oversee and manage the full finance function for the business, dealing with, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

- Design and implement processes to monitor and track project and business area profitability
- Implementing process improvements that help recognise possible cost reductions, efficiency improvements and margin/cashflow improvements
- Financial analysis results of which are communicated to the board
- Managing the audit process of current systems in place
- Being the main point of contact for external accountants in matters relating to statutory accounting, payroll and tax
- Carrying out all necessary day to day accounting duties
- Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and management accounting
This role would be well suited to someone who is flexible in a changing environment, a real hands on manager who is keen to ensure continuity of the day to day accounting function, while also reporting to the board and delivering financial results. In doingthis you will play a pivotal role in the senior management team. It is therefore essential that you are a confident communicator, and are able to deliver financial results and findings to non-finance related stakeholders.
You will ideally be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with 2+ years post qualification experience and be a confident user of Xero and Excel
