**Role Specific**:
As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, your main areas of responsibility will be monitoring the Quality Assurance Technicians and the monitoring and documenting of Food Safety programs as well as adherence to quality, food safety, authenticity, legality and sanitation guidelines related to the processing of Prima Cheese products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring QA Technician tasks.
- Address issues highlighted by QA Technician’s handovers.
- Supporting QA Technicians
- Verify QA Technician checks on Tick-It and address alerts
- Update and create checks on Tick-It, along with check sheets.
- Support in and conduct Food Safety, quality, authenticity and legality investigations for non-conforming final products and write up reports.
- Support with internal audits and inspections (e.g. Hygiene inspection)
- Review and update procedures and document control.
- Training procedures using internal Training Database.
- Support in the induction of new Quality Assurance staff (Food Safety and Quality related)
- Management of Environmental Monitoring (Yearly schedule), Swabbing Plan and Review
- Management of final product sampling and support Quality Control with projects that require Micro testing (including chemical analysis)
- Organising sample collection with the lab (sample collection, portal registration, review of microbiological testing) for products and swabs.
- Review of microbiological testing results with interpretation of data.
- Prepare and manage Conformation Cards for export products.
- Review and signing off prints for Export Customers.
- Monitoring the rework shelf and all rework completed in Production.
- Organising and maintaining all equipment calibration on the schedule.
- Support in ordering and managing supplies (PPE, cleaning tools, cleaning chemicals etc.)
- Check and manage Visitors/Contractors signing in forms along with site refrigeration checks.
- Support with BRCGS Audit, present micro/hygiene information and carry out/support with the traceability exercise
- Dansensor monitoring and reviewing trends.

**Salary**:
Training/Probation Period - £27,435

Full-Time Rate - £30,100

**Hours**:
Monday: 8:00-16:00

Tuesday-Friday: 8:00-15:00

Saturday: 8:00-11:00
