**Location**: Hall Dene Way, Seaham Grange Industrial Estate, Seaham, SR7 0PZ
**Rate of Pay**: £12.37ph

**Working Hours**: Two-week rotating shifts (alternating every two weeks)
- Early Shift: Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-3:00pm; Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm
- Back Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm-11:00pm; Friday, 10:45am-6:45pm

**About Us**

We are a leading manufacturing company specialising in the production of heat exchange coils, units, and housing. Committed to high standards of quality and customer satisfaction, we are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality Assurance team.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
- Perform in-process and final inspections according to job specification, inspection sheets, and test instructions.
- Maintain accurate and complete inspection records and documentation.
- Conduct in-house calibration of inspection equipment in accordance with procedures.
- Ensure material traceability is maintained throughout the production process.
- Segregate and clearly identify non-conforming products and notify relevant personnel.
- Communicate quality-related issues to supervisors, including issues with materials, documentation, or unclear instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with additional tasks as required (with training provided).

**Desirable Skills**
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally in a quality role.
- Proficient in using inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Competent in basic computer use and data entry.

**Desirable Qualifications**
- Experience with quality audits, non-conformance reports, and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.

Pay: £12.37-£13.87 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
