**Role Specific**:
As an Assistant Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will be reporting to the QA Coordinator. You will be responsible for monitoring and documenting company and Food Safety Programs and adhering to all quality, food safety and sanitation guidelines related to Prima Cheese products processing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining traceability paperwork including daily collection, checking, scanning, archiving and making digital copies for audits.
- Verification of QA Technician paperwork.
- Monitor Tick-It alerts
- Support and manage the QA Technician team by reviewing their handover and feedback with any support or queries.
- Preparing the QA Technician Rota (with QA Managers support)
- QA Technician cover if necessary.
- Overseeing the QA students and apprentice’s tasks.
- Attending interviews for QA Technicians and one-to-one meetings.
- Train Quality Assurance personnel.
- Managing internal training for Production and Warehouse employees.
- Conduct New Employee/Agency food safety inductions, if needed.
- Completing traceability exercises and then performing a similar exercise during the BRC Audit.
- Taking part in external audits such as BRC and Halal.
- Developing, maintaining and verifying internal audits including Glass and Plastic Inventory Audit.
- Controlling and updating procedures within the company.
- Maintain document control database.
- Support in maintaining the Training database.
- Preparing and managing signature content on Conformation Cards used for Export.
- Carry out investigation for Food Safety incidents.
- Support in micro swabbing and management of EMP.
- Support QA Coordinators with their tasks if needed (e.g. holiday cover)
- Support in R&D projects.
- Implementing changes required within Quality Assurance - bring ideas to improve the QA Department and after liaising with the Director and QA Manager, implement the changes and measure the effectiveness.
- Conduct occasional Hygiene Audit of the clean down processes.

**Salary**:
Training/Probation Period - £25,292

Full-Time Rate - £27,955

**Hours**:
Monday-Friday: 9:00-17:00 (occasionally on shifts)
