**Job Purpose & Scope**
The Marketing Executive plays a pivotal role in driving the society's brand presence and customer engagement through compelling content creation and effective digital communication strategies. This role involves crafting high-quality content and copywriting for various channels, including promotional campaigns, member communications, and internal material. The Marketing Executive will be responsible for updating the Society's website, ensuring content is relevant and aligned with brand standards, while also overseeing its administration to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.Additionally, they will create and schedule engaging social media content, maintaining a consistent online presence and positive interactions with members and the wider community.
**Duties and Key Responsibilities**
**Content creation and copywriting**
- Write engaging copy that aligns with our tone of voice and resonates with our audience
- Collaborate with the marketing team to craft customer-focused messaging for campaigns, ensuring clarity and consistency
**Website**
- Maintain and update website content to ensure its current, relevant, and optimised for SEO
- Collaborate with designers and developers to improve website functionality and user experience
- Monitor website analytics and provide insights to improve performance and engagement
- Ensure all website content complies with regulatory guidelines and company standards
- Proactively liaise with business areas/webpage content owners. Discuss recommended content and layout amendments and update website content, including product/service information, promotions, news, and educational resources
**Social media content and management**
- Create, schedule, and post engaging social media content across platforms (e.g., Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Manage the social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting that aligns with marketing campaigns
- Monitor and respond to social media interactions, building rapport with the online community
- Analyse social media metrics to measure success and inform strategy improvements
**Direct marketing**
- Use A/B testing and experimentation to refine strategies and improve outcomes
- Monitor and report on campaign KPIs
**Other duties**
- Support the Marketing Team in the delivery of events including all associated collateral required for sponsorships, partnerships, the Society AGM, and other internal events as required
- Provide design support to the Marketing Team when required
- Pro-actively drive best practice and process improvement making recommendations where appropriate

**Person Specification**
**Qualifications & Knowledge**
Essential
- Knowledge of all parts of the Microsoft Office suite.
Desirable
- A relevant degree in marketing or business is desirable.
**Experience**
- Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role is required
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience writing copy
- Experience working with CMS systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Co-ordinating multiple projects/campaigns
- Marketing within a Financial Services industry will be an advantage
**Skills & Abilities**
- Natural storyteller with excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
- Excellent spelling and grammar
- Highly self-disciplined and proactive individual who can deliver quality communications in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Attention to detail
