**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

**Business area introduction**

European Securitised Products Group (“SPG”) - the business provides asset-backed securities underwriting, structuring and placement in the capital markets, as well as short to medium-term non-recourse secured financing solutions to clients via the Group’s balance sheet, based on a broad range of assets including trade receivables, credit cards, consumer loans, auto loans and leases, mortgages and SME loans.

The SPG team has broad responsibility for securitisation across the whole European region for CIB; it comprises 23 colleagues, the majority of which are based in London while a small team located in Madrid is dedicated to Iberia clients.

The team has substantially expanded its front-line risk management capabilities for its current €4.5bn limit exposure securitised lending portfolio since the beginning of the year, and is now looking to add a new analyst in charge of monitoring the credit performance of the portfolio and support the growth of the business.

**Key activities**
- Assist in the first line credit performance monitoring & surveillance for SPG financing business across Europe
- Assist front line origination in preparing annual credit reviews & addressing ad-hoc requests from the credit function / SPG senior management
- Management of monthly credit attestation process & preparation of portfolio quarterly performance reviews
- Assist in producing balance sheet and revenue forecasts & performance MI for the business
- Maintenance of internal desk procedures manuals
- Key liaison with SCIB & SLB middle office and back office across financing facilities
- Liaison with SCIB & SLB finance, ACPM and risk management across European SPG operations

**What we’re looking for**
- Strong experience either in a credit, portfolio management or secured / asset backed lending role; whilst some knowledge of securitisation would be beneficial, the latter is not a pre-requisite for the role.
- Good understanding of risk, regulatory and compliance frameworks as well as ability to address areas of concern through actions
- Strong Communication and collaboration skills across various stakeholders at different seniority levels, and ability to work effectively as a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks with limited supervision
- Strong attention to details and ability to produce consistently high-quality deliverable
- Ability to build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders
- A “can-do” and pro-active attitude
- Highly numerate with strong financial modelling skills using Excel/VBA
- Experience of core loan and/or bond booking systems as well as credit management systems helpful
- Regulated role.

**What else you need to know**

This role is based in our Triton Square office in London, conveniently located within walking distance from Euston Station and Warren Street Station.

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.
