Join us as a Rates Trading Vice President
- We'll look to you to carry out trading activities on authorised NatWest Markets products, according to the strategy and risk appetite of NatWest Markets
- With the opportunity to further develop an extensive range of skills and knowledge will come excellent exposure to the NatWest Markets business and its stakeholders
- You'll be contributing towards the overall product area trading strategy and creation of innovative trade ideas

**What you'll do**
As a Rates Trading Vice President, you'll understand the risk run by the desk, while managing your own risk positions within authorised business limits and executing hedging strategies to ensure risk limits are not breached.
You'll hold accountability for trading activities including the timely, accurate, and consistent pricing and execution of the desk's product range, the daily risk management of the desk's books using appropriate hedging instruments, and the accurate, complete,and timely booking and recording of the desk's transactions.
In addition, you'll be:

- Taking all reasonable steps to make sure your own trading activities are in line with our policies covering market, conduct, operational, credit, and regulatory risks
- Meet financial objectives as defined in your performance objectives
- Targeting a sustainable and robust business P&L stream and risk profile

**The skills you'll need**:
To succeed in this role, you'll need prior trading FX swap experience and a strong interest in markets. You'll have good customer facing skills and strong interpersonal skills.
You'll also need:

- Strong risk and controls discipline
- Business experience in a Financial Institution
- Understanding of electronic markets for FX products and technical skills
