**Apprenticeship summary**
This apprenticeship is an exciting opportunity to work within the College of Social Sciences and College of Arts and Law and is designed to provide a wide range of facilities experience.
You will learn to support the effective running of the busy College facilities department providing support across all College facilities comprising a broad variety of activities. The role is necessarily broad in scope and the post-holder will have the opportunity of experiencing and learning about every aspect of the College facilities including space management, building maintenance and health and safety. The role will include day-to-day facilities assistance, office duties, and basic project administration with scope to learn new areas as the apprenticeship progresses. The apprenticeship is linked to professional registration with the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management.

The College of Social Sciences (CoSS) comprises the School of Social Policy and Society, Government, Education, and the Birmingham Business School.
