A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Co Ordinator in Frome, This is a genuinely exciting time to be joining the Finance Department with the recent decision to consolidate the support functions for all the company's UK business in one department.My Client believes in people above anything else. **Main Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Be the UK point of contact for suppliers and contractors whilst coordinating communication with the Group Procurement team
- Pro actively seek alternative suppliers and find best prices, quality and supply terms.
- Support the Stock Manager on resolving issues with quality of stock, supply issues or non-delivery of stock items after the supply chain team have exhausted their communications
- Be the point of contact for queries relating to purchases and stock
- Meet project launch deadlines
**Background and Skills**
- Experience in Purchasing and Negotiation desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of transactional management desirable with the ability to prioritize and organize a large work load
- Good understanding of IT systems and software,
- Spoken French advantageous
