Recruitment Officer

**We're looking for a Recruitment Officer to join our friendly in-house team.**

Recruitment Officers look after 25-50 roles at a time and support hiring managers from across the business to find the right person to fill their vacancies.

You'll need to be comfortable working at pace and being responsive to changing priorities.

The Recruitment Officer role is varied and will give you the opportunity to grow your skills and experience of recruitment best practice as well as working in a positive and friendly team, for a business whcih makes a real difference

Recruitment experience and working knowledge of employment law (including right to work checks) is preferred.

You will work from our Trowbridge head-office at least 3 days a week, with the option to work from home up to 2 days per week
- once fully trained and competent to work independently.

**Responsibilities**:

- Organise online assessments and interviews
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process
- Utilise social media sites such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Job Boards and CV mining to maximize direct attraction channels
- Advise hiring managers on recruitment process and best practice.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records on HR systems
- Investigate and promote cost effective advertising options
- Represent apetito at careers fairs and events
- Provide timely data for Recruitment KPIs
- Help with occasional Reception relief rota
- Support the wider HR team as required

About you:
**Essential**:

- Confident communicating with the public and internal customers
- including by phone
- Administration experience
- Experience organising a complex workload including multiple 'cases' with conflicting deadlines
- Initiative to take action, solve problems and ask for advice
- A team player with experience working in a team towards shared goals
- Attention to detail and care to produce work of a high quality

**Desirable**:

- Experience working in a recruitment team or service (in-house or agency)
- Working knowledge of right to work checks
- Working knowledge of employment law and recruitment best practice
