**Who is SIS (Solutions in Service)**
SIS encourage and provide social inclusion opportunities through use of local amenities and services for example day centres, support groups and leisure activities with the intention of integrating clients back into the community.
Our teams provide outstanding care and support, working with individuals to understand their needs and help them to achieve their goals and ambitions. The role of a support worker is very rewarding, but it can be challenging at times, so patience and compassion are key. **Supporting People**
- Provide support to individuals with additional needs through our person-centred approach.
- With dignity and care to maximise their independence, putting them at the centre of everything you do
- Provide social inclusion opportunities through use of local amenities such as leisure attractions, walks, skilled activities, and support with gaining employment and recognised qualifications.
- Support with daily living tasks such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, and encouraging good personal hygiene.
- Ensure the people we support are always safeguarded, by following accurate up to date care plans

**Training**
We provide a wide range of **free** training bespoke to the service and individuals we support, which we regularly update to reflect current sector wide policy and best practice. Our training services are designed to offer advice and guidance in a range of areas to services that support people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health diagnoses.
**Service**
Clyde House is a supported living accommodation in Stockport which supports the recovery of residents with complex mental health needs. We have valued staff group who are appropriately trained and committed to life-long learning, to provide 24-hour care based on a person-centred approach.
Our residents are actively encouraged to participate in menu designing and planning. Choice variety and balance is key and resident participation in this process ensures those requirements are met.
The home has a communal lounge, kitchen, and garden for residents to interact and take part in group activities, however some residents prefer our 1 to 1 session. The local shops, transport and leisure facilities are excellent and not far from the home.
**Requirements**:
Ideally a driver but not essential.
Previous care experience is not essential as our fully paid induction and training programme ensures you are supported in your role.
