We are seeking a passionate HSE Training Coordinator to join our Health and Safety Team at our Leicester, UK plant. You will receive a great benefits and reward package as well as opportunities to grow your career

**Summary of the Role**:
To support with maintaining a safe working environment for all employees by delivering training requirements across the site to ensure health and safety requirements are met in line with business and legal compliance.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Deliver training for FLT Reach & Counterbalance, Pedestrian operated stacker truck, hand pallet truck, O/H crane, MEWPS
- Deliver Manual Handling and COSHH Awareness training
- Hand Safety Awareness and Environmental awareness training
- Other safety awareness training site wide as deemed appropriate in line with company requirements.
- Issue licenses on successful course completion
- Assist in the “on the Job” Health & Safety training for new employees
- Design, Compile and maintain comprehensive training course notes, records and training Matrix
- Ensure that all new employees are full inducted in H&S matters.
- Assist in reviewing and compiling risk assessments and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Carry out H&S audits / inspections
- Support the HSE Manager / Adviser to agree on KPIs, training dates and external training providers.

**Competencies**:
The position calls for an individual who is confident in interacting with people at all levels and can deliver impactful training to the site. It is important that you have IOSH Managing Safety Certificate, Train the Trainer and Forklift Truck instructor certificates, however we are willing to provide training for the right person. A background in the manufacturing/engineering industry would be advantageous but not essential.

We are also looking for a someone who will contribute towards our way of doing business; but will come up with innovative solutions and understands the meaningful role they play in the overall success of the company.
