A new Research & Development Project Leader vacancy has arisen within our company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Research & Development team.
**LOCATION**: Skegness - Holly Road Head Offices, Lincolnshire, with occasional working at other sites
**JOB TYPE**: Full-Time
**HOURS OF WORK**: Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.00pm (with half an hour unpaid lunch break)
**SALARY RANGE**: £27,000 - £30,000pa (dependent on skills and experience)
**JOB PURPOSE**:
To take responsibility for activities in the Micronclean Research & Development team, including the technical development, and improvement of existing products, the creation of new products and processes, and the project management tasks associated with these activities.
**Duties to include**:
- Take ownership of, the research & development projects assigned by the Research & Development manager
- Collect and interpret data associated with R&D projects
- Maintain full, accurate and retrievable records of projects and related project management documentation
- Effectively plan research & development projects, with support from colleagues
- Organise the testing of prototypes
- Support problem solving and continuous improvement activities
- Adhere to all relevant requirements in the creation of new products
- Support the creative process and the generation of new product ideas
- Maintain all R&D systems and records, as specified in department and company SOPs
- Liaise with other business functions, in the commercial launch or new products
- Implement new technologies into new products
- In conjunction with the R&D manager, proactively drive the improvement of the Research & Development team and its processes
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Project management and ownership skills
- Good IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office products
- Full UK/EU driving licence

- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Good planning and recording skills
- Fluent spoken and written English
