The Role As a Care Compliance Co-ordinator, you will ensure that we operate in compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Working with the Compliance Manager and the Registered Manager, you will continuously monitor the quality and performance ofour service, identify any instances of non-compliance and quickly take action to bridge any gaps in our offering.

You will Also:

- Ensure the organisation is aware of any new or amended compliance standards
- Promote safe working practices under the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Health & Social Care Act 2008 Regulated Activities (2014 Regulations), Health & Safety at Work Act, Safeguarding Procedures and General Medication Management
- Carry out audits to ensure standards are maintained
- Implement quality management and improvement systems
- Maintain full, accurate and up to date records

Requiements/Experience

Full UK Driving License + Car

At least two years’ experience working within a Care Compliance Role

Previous care experience, including working directly with service users and Supervision of Staff

A commitment to equality and diversity

A commitment to learning and development and the ability to support colleagues to identify and address their L&D requirements

Good Organisational, Planning and People skills Good understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 Regulated Activities (2014 Regulations), Care Act 2014 and The Corona Virus Act 2020

Ability to handle organisational change

Good understanding of the Data Protection Act 1998 and Caldecott Principles/GDPR

Qualifications:
Essential:
NVQ 3

Occupational Competency Assessor

Desirable:
Health and Social Care L2 or L3

Quality Assurance Qualification

**Responsibilities**:
To maintain professional conduct in accordance with organisational guidelines, including respect of equal opportunities, anti-discriminatory practice and equality and diversity. To provide planned/unplanned care to service users in the event of an emergencystaffing situation during working hours and work on a rota system on standby during weekends and evenings. Liaise with all Service Users regarding assessment and review requirements and arrangements. Collect completed care records (examples are care notes,MAR Charts, Nutrition & Hydration) from all service user homes every 6 weeks for auditing and reporting

Carry out the Risk Management Process as follows:
Initial Assessments

COVID-19 Hospital Assessment Passport

Environmental and Moving & Positioning Assessments

Medication Risk Assessments Care Planning

Telephone Client welfare in COVID-19 environment using the company RAG rating report

Perform Compliance Checks as follows:
1to1 supervisions and support, Spot checks, Competency Assessments, Appraisals Conducting regular team meetings with care workers and effecting in-house training referrals for care workers To ensure compliance data base is up to date, accurate and managedeffectively daily using Tagtronics Care, in particular risk assessments and care plans.

Review Service User Care Plans as follows:
Welfare visits, Service User questionnaires (feedback), complete appropriate referrals and follow ups Equipment checks Update care plans including any relevant changes as required

Work in partnership with relevant professionals, service user/family to ensure care is provided utilising a Multidisciplinary Agency Approach i.e.

Occupational Therapists Physiotherapists Chiropodists Social Workers District Nursing Teams / Single Point of Access General Practitioners Pharmacists Hospitals, Hospice and other third sector agencies Residential/Care Homes Care Quality Commission (CQC)Family Representatives

Complete the Investigation Process following Incidents as follows:
Perform 1 to 1 supervision / investigative meetings Complete initial report Report findings to The Compliance Manager/Registered Manager

To ensure your workspace and surrounding environment is always kept clean and tidy as per agreed Organisation’s COVID - 19 Infection Control Procedures To actively participate in teamwork both in the Office and within the Field, engaging with all work colleaguesand other professionals To provide a written Handover to Senior Management and on call duty manager every Friday afternoon at 4pm and when going on planned holiday using the standard Organisation Handover Template To Perform any other requirements as specifiedby Management.
