Field Care Supervisor Location: Harlow Salary: £27,000 per year (plus £1,000 bonus for on‑call) Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, minimum of 5 days a week. On‑call duties include evenings and weekends. Flexible outside hours covered as overtime. Late shifts may involve later start tomorrow. We are urgently recruiting a Full‑time Field Care Supervisor to join our growing team at Caremark Harlow & Epping Forest. The role involves supervising Care & Support Workers, managing quality control, scheduling, induction, and customer reviews. Principal Responsibilities Carry out Individual Needs Assessments for new and potential customers. Conduct risk assessments as part of the needs assessment and update as required. Carry out introductory visits when a Care & Support Worker visits a customer for the first time. Stand on call phone on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends. Allocate suitable alternative Care & Support Workers when a worker cannot attend a call. Facilitate the practical induction of all new Care & Support Workers. Conduct customer reviews and respond to Individual Review Forms. Urgently report any changes in a worker’s or customer’s schedule to the Care Coordinator. Monitor all customers for service and Care & Support Worker satisfaction. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in customers’ homes. Support, monitor, supervise and mentor all Care & Support Workers in the field; encourage and identify opportunities for professional development. Candidate Requirements Previous experience as a senior support worker or in a line‑manager capacity. Ideally NVQ/QCF level 2/3 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to pursue this qualification. At least 3 years of experience working for a domiciliary/home care agency (preferred). Good problem‑solving skills and ability to thrive on challenge. Organised, methodical, and detail‑oriented. Flexible around working schedules, roles, and responsibilities. Own vehicle and valid UK driving licence. Eligibility to work in the UK.
