**About The Role**
Due to internal promotion we have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Ledger Controller to join our Finance Operations Team within our Finance Department. Reporting to the Finance Operations Team Leader, you will be responsible for invoicing clients for our various revenue streams and managing our Credit Control Team.
If this sounds the perfect role for you then here’s a bit more information:
- To process client invoices, credit notes and any other authorised transaction into the sales ledger.
- Resolving client queries, liaising with both external and internal customers.
- Daily posting and reconciliation of bank account, ensuring all payments are posted correctly and investigation of any unrecognised transactions.
- To generate and submit DD payment files twice monthly and an Audis file at month end.
- Process month end shutdown procedure, to include production of month end reports, allocation of cash and matching debtor total to trial balance.
- Management of the credit control team.
**About You**
What are we looking for you to have?
- Substantial experience in an accountancy or financial setting, ideally a similar role.
- AAT qualified preferred or qualified by experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with both colleagues and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team contributing positively to team culture and creating an engaging, supportive and professional environment.
- Computer literate specifically good Excel and word skills.
- To be well organised, detail orientated and able to handle and effectively prioritise multiple tasks under pressure.
- The ability to manage and motivate a team and lead by example.
