**Job Overview**

We are seeking a Credit Controller to join our team on a temporary basis for Maternity Cover.

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the credit and collections of our company's accounts receivable. You will work closely with customers to ensure timely payments are made and address any issues or discrepancies.

**Duties**
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers to resolve overdue accounts
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status
- Liaise with and submit financial reports to Invoice finance company
- Coordinate with sales to address customer credit limits, order enquiries and disputes
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and collection effort
- Raise Invoices and credits to ensure accounts are up to date
- Cover purchase ledger roles for holiday cover

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in credit control or a similar finance role
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Access Dimensions would be an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and credit management best practices

40 hours per week 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday

Start Date: Beginning of October 2024

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 11 months

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
