A field-based role, with dedicated time in both the Manchester and Chesterfield Offices - to identify lost profit opportunities via the use of data and management information and to create effective plans to reduce potential lost profit. In addition they will support the creation a 12 month Profit Protection strategy (including appropriate monthly and ad-hoc reports), that will engage all parts of the business to deliver reductions in lost profit and protect and increase overall business margin.

**Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities**:
**Driving Results**
- Identify any significant branch margin anomalies
- Investigate problem branches and potential individuals and create appropriate action plans to be supported by the area manager and branch team
- To create training that supports the overall Profit Protection Strategy
- Ensure proper processes and policies are in place to allow long term reduction in lost profit

**High Performance Team**
- Engages and motivates the Area and branch teams
- Builds a highly effective relationships across all departments - particularly Retail Operations and Finance

**General**
- Supports delivery of legal, regulatory and operational compliance
- Builds and maintains excellent management information as well as providing relevant insights and corrective actions plans where needed
- Oversees and co-ordinates investigations into potential criminal activities

- Has a good knowledge of all Microsoft Software packages
- Can manipulate data from multiple sources to identify trends and required actions
- Is commercially astute with strong numerical and analytical skills which are used to formulate impactful plans
- High degree of drive and resilience
- Highly developed communication skills
- Experience of managing budgets
- Builds mutually respectful and supportive relationships at all levels in order to influence effectively
- Demonstrates a presence and confidence which creates impact with others
- Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills
- Strong coaching and mentoring experience

**Desirable**
- A good understanding of community pharmacy and financial accounts
