**About The Role**:
You will be working within the IT & Marketing department, who are responsible for the development and administration of multiple e-commerce websites and related sales channels such as eBay and Amazon. As the team is small, the role will be highly varied and there is real freedom to bring your own ideas to the table. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career and you will be expected to play a hands-on role in ensuring the future growth of the business.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Content creation: creating effective product listings for a constant stream of new products, designing CMS landing pages for categories/campaigns, and producing promotional graphics/banners.
- Merchandising: ensuring on-site search results are relevant, designing effective category layouts and monitoring cross sells/up-sells to grow overall basket spend.
- Search Engine Optimisation: Utilising tools such as SEMrush and Google Analytics to produce relevant content, merchandise products & form recommendations for technical improvement
- Data Maintenance: Reviewing content to ensure accuracy and maintaining product data feeds to/from third-party tools such as eBay, Amazon, Google Merchant Centre to ensure compliance.~
- Commercially minded with good numeracy skills & attention to detail.
- Be creative with excellent spelling/grammar and an eye for design.
- Be organised, methodical and able to work to deadlines.
**Skills/Experience Required**:
- Experience in a previous e-commerce role
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables etc.)
- SEO best-practice and use of tools such as: Google Analytics, SEMrush etc.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
**In addition, it would be beneficial if you had previous knowledge/experience**:
- Working with a high SKU count e-commerce retailer
- Magento
- Google AdWords/PPC Marketing
- Managing eBay or Amazon stores
- Photography and/or video editing skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
