An exciting opportunity to join a growing team for Procurement Specialist with a multi-site engineering specialist in Plymouth.
The role will allow for some remote working with weekly site presence at Devonport Dockyard expected initially.
Initial 6 month contract with rates up to £65/hr Umbrella. Contract Inside IR35.
Role Objective
- Establishing project requirements, including those driven by the future bid pipeline.
- Design and engagement of a supply chain that meets project requirements.
- Supporting the delivery of project objectives through the rigorous management of contract and supplier performance
Experience Sought
- Experienced procurement practitioner with knowledge of current strategic procurement techniques and (Relevant experience in Sourcing & Procurement)
- Experience of working in complex project environments.
- Proven track record of delivering excellent supply chain performance.
Due to the nature of the role current security clearance is advantageous but not essential.
