Join Project Procurement Specialist role at Babcock International Group Overview At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Project Procurement Specialist at our Babcock Technology Centre or Devonport Royal Dockyard sites. As a Project Procurement Specialist you’ll influence procurement strategies that support national security while developing your expertise in a dynamic, high‑profile environment. You’ll be part of a newly formed team delivering critical supply chain solutions for submarine programmes, managing sourcing, tendering and supplier performance to ensure projects meet time, cost and quality targets. Responsibilities Establish project requirements and design supply chains to meet them Manage sourcing and tendering processes in line with project deliverables Lead negotiations to secure cost‑effective supply solutions Assure supplier performance against time, cost and quality requirements Deliver cost reductions and savings in line with business targets Essential Experience Strong supply chain and contract management expertise Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills Ability to analyse markets and manage complex business requirements Proficient in Microsoft Office and corporate IT systems Self‑motivated with a flexible, adaptable approach Qualifications Degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience (preferred) CIPS or equivalent professional qualification (advantageous) Security Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions, which may be affected by nationality and residency.
