As a Claims Handler within motor insurance, you will be dealing with cases from AD/TP, Credit Hire, or even of a more sensitive nature involving personal injury or complex motor accidents

We are looking for **EXPERIENCED** Motor Claims Handlers, with a minimum of 1 years up to date working knowledge, who can deliver an exceptional customer experience and ensure the customer’s life is made easier

This can be a fully remote role, but must allow for commuting to** Glasgow Office** if required and you will be working Full time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday with flexibility to fit your schedule if needed

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
You will be expected to handle a varied caseload of files, with duties that will include
- Investigating liability and making decisions based on the facts of the claim
- Identifying cases where there are reasons to consider further investigation relating to fraud or causation
- Reviewing quantum of third-party damages (both vehicle and property)
- Validating claims against policy information to ensure Indemnity verified
- Dealing with credit hire claims - negotiation through to settlement
- Being confident when creating new cases and liaising with policyholders to obtain the relevant claims details of cases not previously reported
- Identifying the most appropriate repair method and instructing the relevant repair specialist

- You’ll be able to confidently communicate with colleagues, customers and third-party insurers and have a professional and engaging communication style
- You’ll be proactive, able to work on your own initiative and have great attention to detail. You’ll also be very organised, and have efficient administration and IT skills, allowing you to effectively manage your caseload.
- You love working in a fast paced and busy environment and thrive working under pressure
