We are working with a leading global insurance business who are opening a Claims Hub in Glasgow.

We are therefore seeking a number of Motor Claims Handlers looking for a move or considering their options - Perhaps you have knowledge of disciplines across Motor Claims and are keen to learn and develop your experience and knowledge in other areas, this opportunity will allow you to become a fully fledged all rounder with a mixed caseload of claims

As a Motor Claims Handler, you will be dealing with cases from **AD/TP/PD, **Credit Hire**, or even claims of a more sensitive nature involving **personal injury** or complex **Road Traffic Accidents**

We are looking for **EXPERIENCED** Motor Claims Handlers, **NOT FNOL** with a minimum of 1 years+ up to date working knowledge, who have handled claims from notification to settlement and who can deliver an exceptional customer experience and ensure the customer’s life is made easier

This can be a fully remote role, but you must live close to **Glasgow **for training and business critical reasons.

You will be working Full time (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday with flexibility to fit your schedule if needed

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
You will be expected to handle a varied caseload of files, with duties that will include
- Investigating liability and making decisions based on the facts of the claim
- Identifying cases where there are reasons to consider further investigation relating to fraud or causation
- Reviewing quantum of **third-party damages (both vehicle and property)**:

- Validating claims against policy information to ensure Indemnity verified
- Dealing with **credit hire** claims - negotiation through to settlement
- Being confident when creating new cases and liaising with policyholders to obtain the relevant claims details of cases not previously reported
- Identifying the most appropriate repair method and instructing the relevant repair specialist

**What we’re looking for**:

- You’ll be able to confidently communicate with colleagues, customers and third-party insurers and have a professional and engaging communication style
- You’ll be proactive, able to work on your own initiative and have great attention to detail. You’ll also be very organised, and have efficient administration and IT skills, allowing you to effectively manage your caseload.
- You love working in a fast paced and busy environment and thrive working under pressure
