Our Claims function is the largest department in our UK General Insurance business, and it plays a critical role in ensuring customers receive an efficient, professional, and empathetic service. Our full-time working hours are 35 hours per week Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm - which means no weekends, late nights, or bank holiday working

**What will you be doing?**

For this role experience as a Motor Liability Handler would be advantageous. As a Liability Claims Handler, some of your responsibilities will include:

- To proactively handle liability investigations across a portfolio of motor claims - aiming to negotiate and resolve liability within optimum time scales
- Minimise the financial impact to the business of ongoing third party claims by negotiating with third parties/representatives and through clear communication with customers
- Promptly handle and effectively resolve all enquiries from both customer and external contacts to ensure delivery of a focused claims service
- Compliance to statutory regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture

**Who are we looking for?**

Ideally, you will be an experienced Motor Liability Claims Handler, with the ability to deliver exceptional service to customers through empathetic and supportive communication.

As a Claims Handler here at Zurich you’ll have an inquisitive nature that will enable you to ask appropriate questions and reach accurate decisions. You’ll need to be able to continually adapt your approach in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
