This role is office based and 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- To manager employee relation casework, including dispute resolution, disciplinaries, grievances, absence and redundancy. Be the first point of contact for employee relation matters, advising on discipline, grievance, sickness cases, supporting investigations and advising at formal hearings.
- Guide managers through short term and long-term sickness, monitor progress, and analyse health reports for effective absence management.
- Provide managers with comprehensive, effective and professional support on a full range of HR activities.
- Provide advice and support on recruitment and selection.
- Support managers on all recruitment matters, writing person specifications and job descriptions.
- Assist in creating and implementing HR policies, ensuring alignment with legislation and company values.
- Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
- Keep up to date with UK employment legislation.
- Monitor all employee records to include, maternity, paternity requests along with absence providing regular updates to the SMT.
- Manage and develop starter and leaver procedures
- Manager HR personnel records ensuring compliance with GDPR.
- General HR administration

- Filing
- Updating employee records on electronic systems
- Liaison with payroll
- Liaison with and support for other departments
- Other duties commensurate with the role as required
**Skills**:
- Experience of working in a confidential manner
- Demonstrable experience in managing employee relation cases and be able to demonstrate excellent employment law knowledge understanding of GDPR rules
- Good Excel and Word experience
- GCSE English and Maths
- CIPD level 3 and above essential
