We are an outsourced Business Support company that provides the HR Services, IT Support and Accounts/Purchasing Administration for several growing retail brands across Scotland. Due to rapid growth within the Business, we have a requirement for an experienced Full Time HR Generalist to join our expanding team.

This is an exciting role within the business, to directly support the Operational Directors and retail sites with the day to day running of the business and office, providing HR Advice directly to managers and Operational Directors.

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm (30-minute break)

**The role involves**:_(but not limited to)_
- Be the first point of contact for any HR-related queries for the company.
- Listen to employee complaints and seek solutions.
- Conduct employee probationary reviews.
- Oversee and assist with employee onboarding procedures.
- Update records to accommodate new hires.
- Coordinate with other HR professionals within your team.
- Oversee and assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Liaise with managers to ensure that monthly payroll is up-to-date and accurate before sending to the Payroll Department.
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
- Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic form using our in-house created system
- Ensure compliance with UK/Scotland employment legislation.

**Requirements and skills**:

- At least 2+ years experience in previous HR role or similar
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures, including having experience with Tribunals, disciplinary procedures, appraisals and grievances.
- Good knowledge of UK/Scotland employment laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving and organisational skills
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- BSc/BA in Human Resources/another relevant field or life experience in relevant field
- Additional HR training/certification will be a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£33,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's (preferred)
