**Salary**: £23,000 per annum (increasing to £26,000 per annum once apprenticeship awarded).

**About the role**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised HR Administrator Apprentice to join our People department. The HR Administrator Apprentice will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks to support the People team and ensure smooth HR operations. This role involves handling personnel records, reviewing payroll, assisting with recruitment processes, managing employee documentation, and providing general HR support.

Equally importantly, you will align with our organisational values, which were defined by our people for our people, clients, learners, and partners.

**What you'll do**

To help us be the best, you will be accountable for:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and leave records.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality of employee information.
- Maintain applicant tracking system and update recruitment databases.
- Prepare and process HR documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding paperwork.
- Manage employee files and ensure all documentation is complete and in compliance with company policies.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and facilitate the enrolment process.
- Generate HR reports as needed, including headcount reports, turnover analysis, and other HR metrics.
- Assist in analysing HR data to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Support HR initiatives to promote a positive work environment and employee engagement.
- Handle basic employee inquiries and escalate issues to the appropriate HR personnel when necessary.
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanour to foster positive employee relations.
- Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in ensuring the organisation's compliance with legal requirements related to HR practices.

- Undertake the Level 3 or Level 5 Apprenticeship programme
- Highly organised and efficient.
- Deeply engaging, energetic and approachable.
- Proactive and considered in approach.
- Team player, able and willing to 'get stuck in' with whatever needs to be done in a timely manner.
- Process orientation - both in terms of design / implementation and maintenance
