**The Role**
The team has responsibility for providing the Specsavers’ Group with a wide range of Facilities Management Services to ensure that the business can operate efficiently and safely.
In this role you will support the Facilities Manager in the soft service delivery whilst also managing a team of 2 Facilities Assistants. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure all facilities soft services are tendered and renewed on a regular basis to ensure value for money. These services include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning
- Catering and Event Management
- Security
- Ensure the high performance of Facilities Management services using Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators to facilitate the highest standards of service and continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all contractors working on site are correctly supervised and safe systems of working practice are adhered to.
- Create open communication with key stakeholders to inform and update, building trust and respect by creating strong relationships that allow for healthy debate and influential discussion
**The Experience**
- Previous experience in a Facilities position is desirable, though not essential
- People management experience, with an ability to coach and mentor
- Strong interpersonal skills and a clear communicator
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisation skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks and workload
- Hands-on approach, with a proactive attitude
- Strong problem solving skills
- Health and Safety accreditation, or a willingness to study towards
