EFM are recruiting for full time permanent Breakdown Controllers to join our Team in Sharston, Manchester.

If you love a career that is different every day, fast paced, supporting getting our customers back on the road. As a Breakdown Controller, your role is integral, responding to calls from our customers who could have broken down at the roadside, they may have a none urgent defect to report or have a general enquiry. It’s down to our Operations teams to quickly and effectively deal with the call and deploy the resources to meet our customer needs.

We will reward your hard work with not only competitive rates of pay, great benefits package, made up of various, flexible work patterns, holiday allowance and free on-site parking. Overtime is regularly available if you want to earn some extra money.

Your tasks and responsibilities in this role will include;.
- Answering the phone within the given SLA by the customer to either log a new breakdown or deal with a store/repairers query.
- Record, process and accurately deal with jobs that are called through from the customer using our chosen web based platform.
- Understand and identify services which are classed as warranty, damage, and or recharge. (full training will be provided).
- Allocate and deploy resources/suppliers to pre-booked and live tasks in-line with targeted timescales.
- Speaking to workshops (internal and external) to book work with them.
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times.

We are looking at filling this position ASAP.

The competitive salary on offer depends on experience & overtime is often available. The hours of work for this position are 1pm - 12am based on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
