HBTT is a true alternative to hospital admission, supporting people to remain in their own homes whilst receiving a high level of care and treatment for their mental health.
We work within both medical and social models of care and use a strengths-based approach to recovery, ensuring service users receive the right care at the right time. We work closely with community teams across the Salford footprint to ensure consistent and knowledgeable care.

- our Mental Health Practitioners are from various professional backgrounds: RMNs, Social Workers, Occupational Therapy. We work alongside our medical team and Clinical Psychologist with a recovery focus.

Your role within the team will allow you to develop excellent skills in both bio-psycho-social assessment and risk management, alongside key working service users who require full HBTT support.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join the Home Based Treatment Team in Salford.
We welcome practitioners from a nursing, social work or occupational therapy discipline.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an enthusiastic and dynamic community team. Home Based Treatment Team provides an alternative to inpatient admission and support people with severe and acute mental health problems in their home whilst undergoing intensive treatment for their mental health needs.
Home based treatment team is a 24/7 service and you will be working on a rota basis, including some weekends, evenings and nights when the service requires.
Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust employs over 7000 members of staff, who deliver services from more than 160 locations.
We provide inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford, Trafford and the Borough of Wigan, and a wide range of specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond.
