LOCATION: REMOTE - UK

Our client is looking for a Science Editor to undertake final post-acceptance checking of manuscripts prior to copy-editing. The aim of this role is to ensure a high quality of scientific content of manuscripts by checking scientific and numerical validity, accuracy and completeness of information, which will include figures and tables.

The Science Editor will also be required to communicate with authors and members of the Journal’s Editorial Panel, regarding any queries arising from inaccuracies or deficiencies in data presentation, inconsistencies, and omissions of essential information or suggestions for additions/alterations to the text.

This is an ideal role for someone with the relevant qualifications, who is looking for a permanent part-time role of around 15-20 hours per week (the hours are flexible, and can be arranged).
