We are now looking for a Customer Service Assistant (Reception & SPAR Shop Team) to join our great, small team. We need you to have a welcoming smile, with a can-do attitude, and then you will fit well into our team

The duties for this varied role include, but are not limited to:

- answering queries, making bookings and greeting customers face to face
- liasing with our customers on the phone and online
- giving our customers helpful information about the park and surrounding areas
- welcoming customers into the shop, operating the till systems and helping them find what they are looking for
- helping to look after the shop including placing orders, pricing goods, cleaning and stock replenishment
- if our customers need help ensure we give great customer satisfaction by finding out the answers. We also need to record any comments and concerns where needed
- liasing with our other team members in our Grounds and Maintenance, Housekeeping and Sales Teams
- assisting with paperwork to ensure compliance with legislation (e.g. health & safety checks)

The role could lead to all-year round employment as we may be able to offer hours in Chideock Stores & Post Office, which is linked to the park. Post Office training may be available.

We are happy to discuss the exact working pattern but the job is on a holiday park so working at weekends, during the evening and during school holidays are an important part of the job.

We have both a full and part time position, Full time is to work 5 days out of 7, on a rota basis and part time hours from 16 hours upwards available. Working days are shifts between 07.45 and 20.30 in peak times

Some experience of working on a holiday park, or within hospitality or retail, would be useful - but not essential. Wages are paid hourly and on a four week schedule. Benefits include discounted holidays within WDLH and discounts in our Leisure Club & Restaurant at Highlands End Holiday Park.

You will need your own transport (feet, bike or car) and be able to reach our rural location at Seatown near Chideock. You must also be able to commute as accommodation is not available.
